What do you need to do to access the new platform?
We have set you up on our new platform, and you will need to reset your password. Click on the link below, and select the forgot password icon, which will send you an email, so that you can set your new password.
*If you have already accessed our new platform for our SME product – you do not to have to reset your password, personal lines will be available for you today.
Please note that this is a major update to our Home and Landlord product offerings, with some minor changes to our Motor and Business Insurance product offering, therefore it is important that you review this email and accompanying documents in full, so you are fully prepared for the changes.
Any policies bound via the new platform will also have a new PDS. For access to the new PDSs and the applicable change notices, please visit our Product Documents page.
CHANGES TO BLUE ZEBRA PERSONAL LINES
What has changed?
From today, any new business and renewal transaction, with an inception date of 1st July onwards, will be processed via the new Zebra Lounge 2.0 portal.
Across all our personal lines products, we have made a range of updates that are necessary to support sustainability of our portfolio and to provide clarification, so that the intent of our terms and conditions is sufficiently clear. To help with an easy transition for you and your clients, we have created a change notice for each product - this document can be used to explain the changes to your client. It details the section where a change has occurred, what kind of change it is (derogation, clarification, improvement) and provides a description of the change. This list is not exhaustive, so we do recommend that you read the new PDS’ in full, to ensure it meets your clients' requirements.
Our home & landlord products have some significant changes that we would like to highlight (detailed explanations can be found in the change notices):
Home:
How we will handle valuable and portable items, how they can be specified and what we will pay has changed. Additionally, the relevant contents excess will now apply to these items;
We are no longer offering unspecified valuables under our Home Listed Events or Home Basic policies.
Pedal cycles are now an item that has a $5,000 flexible limit applied, and now excludes cover whilst being used for racing or pacemaking;
Landlord:
Short term tenancy or holiday let - optional cover- loss of rent is no longer a fixed limit (previously $50k AD, $25k LE). We require the annual rental amount to be disclosed. For AD will pay up to two times the annual rental amount and for LE simply up to the annual rental amount;
Malicious damage, deliberate or intentional damage or theft by tenant - where a claim relates to separate identifiable events we have amended the excess structure. An excess is payable for each event, up to a maximum of 2 events per claim.
Motor:
Roadside assistance is now an optional cover on Comprehensive Plus (previously automatically included).
The above is not an exhaustive list – but they are the areas we would like you to pay particular attention to, because they impact how you transact the policy on our new platform.

The newest version of our SME quote portal includes the following new key features:

Complete revision of question set and referral rules
More intuitive and meaningful question sets for key market segments to represent the latest risk exposures
For access to the new PDS and the applicable change notice, please visit our Product Documents page. Most of the changes are to align with the new platform.
Important information:
- To access our new platform, please click on the link above and choose “reset password”, which will enable you to set up new log in credentials, which you can save to your browser.
- Existing business will still be transacted via the old platform, until renewal, when it will be transferred across to the new platform 2.0 by BZI.
- Any policies bound via the new platform will also have a new PDS.
- Currently the new platform has our personal lines (Home, Landlord and Motor Vehicle Insurance) and Business insurance products available. We will be transitioning the remainder of our products – watch this space for more products to be added in the near future.
- There are key features & frequently asked questions documents for both our personal lines and business insurance products, which should cover any general queries you may have.
The redesign has been informed by broker feedback to make it even quicker and easier for brokers to work with us.
We understand and appreciate that some things will be new and different in the early stages and where possible, we have included prompts and automated responses to help you out.
